SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
The Association of Canadian Editorial Cartoonists gave the go ahead for a complete overhaul of
canadiancartoonists.com at July 2005 convention in Halifax. The relaunch of the site took place in September of
2005.

Already, traffic is flowing through the site and it should prove to be a great resource of information and
entertainment as things are added to the site.

Only those who are active (ie: paid-up) members of the Association of Canadian Editorial Cartoonists may submit
cartoons. Those interested in joining the ACEC are advised to read the membership criteria as described on the
directory page.

Here's the specifications with regard to submitting info and cartoons for your profile page ...

-- 7 jpeg images at 72 dpi, at 7 inches across.
-- 1 recent portait photo or a graphic of yourself (1.5 X 2 inches deep, 72 dpi).
-- An updated biography, keep it below 200 words. (In English or/and French)
-- The URL to a website which shows your cartoons .
-- Your email address and a yes or no as to whether or not to post it on your
ACEC member page.
-- Let us know if you'd like an English and a separate French language page.

IMAGES
-- Individual pages are templated to feature either square, horizontal, or vertical cartoons, but not in a combination.
When choosing which cartoons you want shown
please email those which are roughly the same shape.

--
Rename the cartoons after your surname, all in lowercase letters. So, if your name is Duncan Macpherson, here's
what you'll be sending:

macpherson3.jpg
macpherson4.jpg
macpherson5.jpg
macpherson6.jpg
macphersonpic.jpg (this is image will show up as your photo -- measuring 1.5 x 2 inches deep, 72 dpi.

-- If you can upload your cartoons onto Internet storage space, to, say, your personal website, format them as jpegs
and name them as described above. The advantage of this is that you take over the responsibility of updating the
content of your profile page as often as you'd like.

-- Don't forget to
let us know the address of the URL where these images can be picked up.

-- Regular members will have their cartoons images randomly appear along with all the other members' cartoons on
the
home page of canadiancartoonists.com.

For those not uploading cartoons to a personal website send the works to the webmaster of this site:
