| Patricia Storms was born in 1963 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and grew up in
Burlington, Ontario. She has worked in libraries and as a graphic designer,
but these days she is a freelance cartoonist and picture book author and
illustrator. She draws a monthly cartoon for Toronto's Town Crier papers, as
well as Vaughan Today, and her editorial work has been published in the
National Post, Canadian Notes and Queries, and the Bangkok Post. She has
also worked for Scholastic Canada, Kids Can Press, Owlkids Books, ChickaDEE
magazine and Chronicle Books. She was awarded Cartoon of the Year (over
10,000 circulation) for the Ontario Community Newspapers Association 2008
Better Newspaper Awards. She lives in Toronto, Ontario, with her husband and
two very fat cats. |
