| Born 1970 in Bracebridge, the ‘Heart of Muskoka’, Tammy Schell grew up
surrounded by the great outdoors and formed a love of the environment through the teaching of her stepfather, a Forest Ranger. Her love of
nature and facination with comics and political art would send her down the path to a challenging and exciting career.
She Attended Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario and received many art related awards while studying Graphic
Design and Fine Art and now has 16 years of experience. Tammy works for Metroland North Media Group, producing and designing advertisement for a handful of
regional newspapers. Tammy draws 3 Editorial Cartoons a week which are published in The Bracebridge Examiner, The Gravenhurst banner and The
District Weekender. The editorial staff she works alongside are extremely clever, and she cannot thank them enough for their support.
