John Curtis (JOHNNY) studied cartooning at the Hamilton
Public Library in the 1980s. His first cartoons appeared in
the University of Waterloo student newspaper while he was
studying for a B.A. in English. Since 1990, he has been the
editorial cartoonist for the Cambridge Times. His
illustrations have appeared in newspapers, magazines and
corporate publications all across Ontario. He currently
teaches English and Media Studies at a high school in
Cambridge, where he lives with his wife and two sons.
