| Rick Cepella is a cartoonist, painter and illustrator. His art has appeared in most Canadian newspapers including the Ottawa Citizen, Toronto Star, Vancouver Sun and the National Post. He has won several nation and international awards. Roy Peterson of the Vancouver Sun calls him "unusually talented". He has been an art instructor for twenty years and has taught at the Kootenay School of Art, Okanagan School of the Arts, Selkirk College, the Ottawa School of Art and others. Rick is an accomplished landscape artist whose bold acrylics convey his love for expressive paint handling and the beauties of the back country. His political art is of Canada, his paintings are in collections throughout North America. |
